What a Saturday we had at the Central Coast Leagues Club.
Fighting out of the SRG Thai Boxing Gym Yokkao Training Centre Corner, we had Patrick Soot Raaeng Geert fighting against the tough Blaine Molony from Fite 108 Gym.
It was a great 5 round display of Muay Thai, having the first 3 rounds pretty even, with both boxers connecting their attacks and fighting for the center of the ring control. The 4th and 5th rounds were dominated by Patricio SRG. He turned up the intensity, defended a little better, connected some pretty serious hits (some clean beautiful elbows and rib kicks) and brought the belt home to Sydney.
As a true Martial Artist, Patricio went there against all odds, fighting the promoters boy at their turf, he showed us his true Soot Raaeng Geert style. By bringing back that belt he made us all feel proud of his determination and commitment with the sport, and as one of the hardest workers we have ever had (yes, Patrick trains harder than everyone) we feel that this is just the beginning of a huge career.
Congratulations on this Win Pat, we are still over the moon with your performance and hope that you get many more belts like that.
SOOT RAAENG GEERT!!
Ps: Thanks a lot to Gary Jenei and Vitor Ebel for coming along and taking pictures of our boxers. This below is a great moment captured by Gary.
