SUPERLEK IS COMING TO SRG

If you follow Yokkao on their social media, you saw that Superlek Kiatmoo9 is coming to Australia for a seminar tour. What you didn’t know is that your very own SRG is also working behind the scenes, organising all the little details. We are planning on having a super weekend of Muay Thai on the 29th and 30th of November. rws fight card and how to watch

Mr James Kostic and Cale Wild are fighting at RWS (Rajadamnern World Series) in Bangkok on Saturday, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them back in one of the biggest promotions in the world. The boys are already in Thailand and are finishing their fight camp under Cajaiba’s guidance at Joh and Lek’s old gym at Keatkhamtorn. James is facing yet another experienced Thai opponent, technician Wanpadej, on the main card. Cale is the second fight of the prelims and takes on an aggressive Brazilian opponent, Daniel Nascimento. RWS starts at 11:30 pm (Sydney time) on Saturday, and...

SRG Sparring Day photos

Our sparring day was once again great, and we really enjoyed seeing new people stepping out of their comfort zones. The goal behind our sparring day is to find prospects to join the amateur rankings of Muay Thai in NSW. Some students looked ready to step up to the challenge, while others who aren’t quite ready yet, gained valuable insight into what they need to improve. As usual, the uniforms and medals looked great, and Michel Ogosh captured all the action through his lens. Photos are now available, and you can check them out at the following link:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IayBsVGYU-2THKVgfGmkLs_BJ0oZB30s Should we...

Results from the weekend

We were once again in Melbourne, and this time our fighters were featured in both the main event and co-main event of the evening. James Kostic has truly taken the hardest and most authentic path to make a name for himself in the Muay Thai scene, and he keeps climbing the rankings in his weight division. Never choosing easy opponents, he stepped into the ring against Mahamongkol a former regular on the Thai stadium circuit and a former Thailand Champion known for his slick, technical style. James showed significant improvements and managed to outscore his opponent, earning a win by...

Dear Sydney council, please hurry up

Dear Sydney council, please hurry up

Oh well, it had been just good news for a long time and we had a few more in store for Monday, but someone decided to ruin the party. Before going through the good news, here is the bad one. We had everything organised and on track with our development manager, and the 1st of September was the date we would start operating in U1 with new classes, weight area, and recovery room. Unfortunately, due to a single complaint regarding the change of the DA approval and business trade at Unit 1, our application timeline has been pushed back for...

SRG Sparring Day photos

Last Saturday, we held our latest Sparring Day edition, and we hope both competitors and spectators had a great time! We usually have a higher number of students registering for our internal events, typically resulting in 10 to 12 bouts. Although we had only 5 fights this time, we believe this is a strong indication that our competition pathway at SRG is working well. Since we started Sparring Day, over 10 students have joined the amateur rankings, with two of them going on to become professional fighters. The goal of Sparring Day is to prepare our students for the rules...
