Wasn’t the bets weekend for SRG Thai Boxing Gym, but we still had a good time and watch the development of Muay Thai in NSW.
We were supposed to have 2 of our new Boxers performing on Saturday, the 21st of November at Double Dragon Martial Arts, in a all Amateur Event that promoted the development of Novice fighters.
Unfortunately Carmelo’s opponent wasn’t properly registered with the CSA and could not take part in the event, and lucky enough we have King Naresuan Muay Thai Championship Amateur Fights coming on December 12th, in which we will be able to match them for their first fight.
Chris SRG Mata’afa had a good start, showed a lot of calm and good control of the ring, his opponent was going around the ring and not getting much of him. Unfortunately Chris popped his shoulder out, twice, and couldn’t keep on going. He wanted to but it wasn’t safe for anyone at the point to keep fighting.
We can’t wait for his full recovery, as we have a lot of faith on Chris’s abilities to claim to the top of the leather in the heavy weight division of our state.
See you guys all soon at training. Keep up to date with the latest news from SRG Thai Boxing Gym. SOOT RAAENG GEERT!
