International debut done and dusted for James Kostic and Cale Wild.
It has always been our dream to train students from complete beginners to professional fighters competing on an international level and this weekend we reached this first milestone and we couldn’t be any prouder.
At the well known Rajadamern Stadium in Bangkok, our fighters showed their beautiful Muay Thai and bringing back to Australia some big lessons for their careers. If you didn’t watch their fights, they are available on the RWS YouTube channel.
James went first and showcased 3 rounds of beautiful Muay Thai and ring control, winning via unanimous points decision. A performance worth a highlight (and yes, you can find it HERE).
Cale went up against a more seasoned opponent opening the main card. Cale’s beautiful style and IQ were once again in evident but his opponent was just too strong and unfortunately we came up short on points on this one.
Many lessons learned for both fighters and the most important thing, that they certainly belong on the big stage.
We can’t wait to be in back in Thailand, we can’t wait to be back at Rajadamern.
Thanks for everyone’s support, including from many sponsors and donators who financially helped out the boys to compete in Bangkok.
Now our focus is on the 17th of February when Luis Cajaiba defends his WBC International Title, Lek Uthaiwut has a shot for the WBC Nai Khanon Tom challenge belt and Adam Kaewphaluek aka Singdam, fights for the WBC NSW State Title at the upcoming 1774 Promotions event. If you are interested in supporting our fighters, make sure to get your tickets at the gym’s front desk!
SOOT RAAENG GEERT!
