Coming once again to SRG Thai Boxing Gym is the MTA Development Day.
On the 22nd of April we will have a slight different event from what we are used to. This time around you will be able to participate of the first MTA Officials Course, in which was created for a couple of reasons. First of all, everyone interested in becoming a Judge or a Referee of Muay Thai under the WMC/MTA rules and secondly for all Fighters, Trainers and lovers of Muay Thai to have a better understanding about the rules and regulations of our sport.
Now, there are a lot of federations and sanctioning bodies approved by the Combat Sports of NSW that unfortunately, and we we say UNFORTUNATELY in capital letters, have people involved in not only as referees and judges, but also as representatives of the same, that have absolutely no clue about traditional Muay Thai Rules, of even worst, get their own rules made up and forget that we actually are part of 1 sport and we should all work together towards better and more reasonable calls under the rules and regulations of where our sport comes from, under the guidance of the his Majesty, The King of Thailand.
In saying that, we are now working towards brighter and better days for our Sport, and we will do our very best to insure the quality of our sport is kept and its integrity is maintained.
The course will start at 10am at aSRG Thai Boxing Gym and all enquires and registrations should be directed to Andrew Parnham on 0433 713 833 or on info@thaiboxingsydney.com and info@ptjmuaythai.com.au
