It has been kind of a tradition in most Muay Thai Academies around the country that our year really starts after Australia Day long weekend. Not only because it comes only a few weeks after the Christmas and New Years break, but also because it has been the long weekend devoted to the MTA Nationals for the past few years.

We had an amazing time up in Palm Beach, Gold Coast. Was good seeing all competitors, their families and gyms involved in promoting this great event. The amount of competitors and the levels they were performing at, made us all realize the great work that has been done all around in Muaythai Australia gyms across the country and the results are coming clear!

Over 200 competitors in a 3 days tournament type of event, in where kids to seniors in both male and female categories competed and gave their best. From SRG Thai Boxing Gym we closed the competition with 9 Wins and 4 Losses bringing back to Sydney 3 Gold and 2 Silver medals.

And now the 2020 Calendar Year is officially open, we have lots of people coming back to their training regime and at around 15 fights booked for the next month.
