A day that all of us from the Muay Thai community will remember, and not for a good reason. The government shut us down today, from midday, and there is nothing we can do about it. And we wouldn’t want to, just to think of going against any of the recommendations from the experts of our country would be complete selfishness. During this time, there a few things we need to ensure, for our members, so we can make a come back and still be here when this is all gone. First of all, the gym lockers. All of you that have anything inside the lockers, YOU MUST COLLECT IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AFTER FRIDAY, EVERYTHING LEFT HERE WILL BE DISPOSED. NO EXCEPTIONS. We will be at the gym everyday this week from 4pm until 4:30pm so you can collect your gear. (before the government moves to stage 2, where we don’t believe we will be able to leave our houses). Second of all, the memberships. We are going through this moment together with the whole country, and our position will not change. We want to be here for all of you, and we want to believe you are all there for your fellow citizens as well. If you are going through a hard time, lost your job and can’t afford your membership, get in touch with us straight away to put your membership on hold. If you are coming from a more favorable situation and consider and love the gym like your second home, and are still getting paid, or is in a position of supporting your local gym/clubs, we ask you, help out as much you can. If you can afford to keep your membership going, we will be forever greatful for your act of support, if you can only afford to be paying half of your membership contact us asap on all our social media and e-mails, and we will be also eternally greatful. The present time will reflect the way we will be impacted in the future, and the one that thing matters the most to us is that we stick together and be helpful and kind to one another. Thirdly, we have hope and will do everything possible to come back as soon as possible and keep doing what we love the most, which is bringing the best out of our students. Private classes will not be available in the gym, fell free to contact our trainers directly to organize an outdoor area session. Lastly, this is so sad, and we have all shared tears already, but we must remember that from great adversities comes great innovations. If you happen to come or have experienced places where natural disasters have occurred, you will notice how united its people become afterwards. We are working on our online training platform to have it up and running very soon, it should be a few more days and more than 100 videos will be available to add to your online training session. All our paying members will have free access to our online training programs, we will be posting lots of home workouts on our social media pages so please keep up with your health and training regime, in this difficult time is very important to stay healthy so we can stand strong and help one another.
Also, in order to do something to help, Muay Thai Store is offering 30% store wide, and to be honest with you guys we were thinking about not doing it, but we wouldn’t like to sell anything at full price at this stage.
