Saturday May 25th
It’s time to head up to Melbourne with James Kostic and Isabel Atchinson who are part of the next Rebellion/Roots Muay Thai. Rebellion is the most famous promotion in Australia and through the years we had many of our fighters competing at this prestigious event. James and Isabel have both done great fight camps and we can’t wait to have them back in action. If you are not heading to Melbourne on the weekend, you can catch up on the action by clicking HERE. Rebellion always brings the best Muay Thai fighters to compete at their events and this time they really caught the attention of every single Muay Thai fan with their main event. Returning to action is Damian Alamos who’s regarded as one of the best Muay Thai foreigner fighters in the sport’s history. Make sure to purchase your pay-per-view.
Saturday June 1st
Andreas Mera will be representing the SRG Fight Team in Cairns QLD at Elite Cage Fighting promoted by Explosive Fight Night. Our Argentinian fighter doesn’t back down a challenge and will be fighting Muay Thai rules with 8oz gloves on a cage. We will be posting more information about the live streaming details next week.
Sunday June 9th
SRG Sparring Day. Our sparring day is back and it’s time to find out who’s ready to step up in the ring and represent SRG in the amateur rankings in NSW. As per usual, students that demonstrate good technique and fighting skills will receive the approval from our trainers to compete on MNSW Development Day. The minimum requirement to be eligible to participate is being an active student in our sparring classes. If you are interested in reading more about the event and participating, click HERE.
Saturday June 15th
We are back at 1774 Promotions and this time it’s all about the main event of the evening. On yet another great fight card with national and international fighters, our trainer and fighter Luis Cajaiba is fighting for his second WBC World Title and possible 3rd world title in his career. His opponent is the dangerous and skillfull Kongthailand, who fought against Luis two years ago and was the best man of the night on a points decision for the Lumpinee Stadium title. Cajaiba is taking no shortcuts for this bout and will bring his best version yet on the 15th of June.
General admission tickets just arrived at the gym and you can get yours for $95, do not miss out on the opportunity to support Cajaiba on his world title pursue in the heart of Sydney.
Sunday June 30th
MNSW Development Day. The future of Muay Thai in NSW is back in action here at SRG Thai Boxing gym, amateurs from all gyms associated to Muay Thai Australia competing in a safe environment where they can hone their skills and climb up the rankings to become professional fighters. This event is sanctioned by Combat Sports and Muay Thai Australia NSW, tickets will be available at the gym’s front door on the event’s day.
