Summer has come to an end and now, the “sauna” days are over. It doesn’t mean you don’t need to bring your towel and a bottle of water, but the colder weather definitely makes it more enjoyable to train hard. There’s no better time to start training than at the end of the summer and below are some advantages:
- You don’t feel like you are being slowed cooked in the oven. No jokes, the hardest sessions you can burn over 800 calories and during the hot Australian summer it feels like you just burnt 1600 calories.
- “non-shivering thermogenesis.” Have you heard that you build your summer physique during the cold seasons? That’s absolutely correct, in order to keep your body warm, you need to not only burn more calories, but your body also burns your fat stocks.
- Classes are naturally not as busy as during the summer. It’s much easier to feel motivated on a Sunny day than in a cloudy rainy day, but will you reserve only 3 months per year to exercise? Common, training only on summer is so overrated. Also, as the group classes are smaller, you get MORE ATTENTION. That’s the most precise statement we can produce, as the classes get smaller our instructors can give even more attention to our students. If you are in doubt of a technique, or would simply like to know more about it, make sure you ask them at your next training class.
- If you are already a Muay Thai practitioner and is looking forward to have your first fight, then know most of Promotions are on during the Autumn, Winter and Spring. Summer shows in Australia are a rare thing, as no one wants to make the fighters suffer that extra touch.
If the reasons above weren’t enough to encourage you to start training, then, come for a free session and if you enjoy it and have some fun, simply sign up after your free trial and we will guarantee your first week free.
