Through the gym’s front door we have seen many people trying to figure out what we do inside the doors.
It’s no mystery to anyone that Muay Thai is a brutal sport and even a bit scary at first sight but how does it work for a first timer? Does everyone goes hard in every session? Will I have to fight if I join a club?
Muay Thai is awesome. Doesn’t matter if you are trying to get fit, lose weight or just trying to learn a new skill. The best part it is that you can do it on your own pace. You don’t need to become a fighter. You don’t have to train like one.
If you are a first timer, all you need to have is a better understanding about Muay Thai, it is an Intro Class.
Our instructors will move you aside on the mats and will do a separate class, teaching you all the much needed basics for a first timers.
Below is what you will learn on your first class:
- Muay Thai skipping
- Mobility work
- Muay Thai stance
- Foot work
- Technique shadow
- Technique pad work
- How to hold pads
- Core work
Does it still look scary? Give a go and try not to get addicted to Muay Thai!
