We have been so busy with our fight team, and it feels like our fighters have been competing non-stop every weekend.
This Sunday isn’t any different, and we have 7 fighters—both professional and amateur—repping the SRG fight team.
If you don’t have plans yet, make sure to come to SRG on Sunday to enjoy two events: starting at 12pm with the MNSW Development Day, and then at 5:30pm with SRG Fight Night.
MNSW Development Day is the first step for any fighter intending to become a professional. Amateurs from gyms all over NSW will be competing at an event sanctioned by Combat Sports Australia.
We will have Sebastian Barriga, Patrick Marinos, Oliver Girling-Butcher, and Polly Sotanasomboon competing, with the first fight starting at 12pm. Doors open at 11am for spectators, and tickets cost $40 for adults, $20 for kids, with a family package (2 adults and 2 kids) available for $100. Tickets can be purchased at the front door with cash.
At the end of the amateur event, we will close the doors and reorganise the gym in preparation for the professional card.
Allegra Vickas will headline the event, fighting for the WMC Australian Title. Andy Mera returns as the co-main event, and Pierre Vianno will be making his SRG debut.
We have a total of 7 professional fights on the card, and you can check the full lineup by clicking HERE.
Doors open at 5pm, and the first fight starts at 5:30pm. Tickets are still available and can be purchased either online or at the gym’s reception. General standing tickets can be purchased online by clicking HERE for $70. General seating is available exclusively at SRG’s reception for $90. Attendees who purchase tickets for the PRO card will receive 50% off to purchase tickets to watch the MNSW Development Day.
Due to Sunday’s events, our Monday morning classes are cancelled, including our Thai Boxing All Levels classes at 6:30am and 10am, and the sparring class at 11:30am. We will resume our timetable at 12:30pm.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you on Sunday, supporting the SRG fighters and enjoying some beautiful Muay Thai.
